JUNE 2005

I know I have said it before, but I am going to say it again, WOW! I am stunned, almost into silence, by God's timing, his faithfulness to keep a promise and his blessing.

The cry of my heart is to sing a new song, pleasing and acceptable to God. What a joy and blessing it is to declare God glorious, worthy, holy, magnified and lifted high! After years of writing from life's valley's God is opening up something within me that worships Him. I have been praying for years that God would help me to write praise and worship that is pleasing to Him, and slowly but surely it is starting to happen.

I have found that as I stop focusing on my problems and start focusing on His blessings I can enter a place of thankfulness, from which springs praise and worship. It is only by becoming focused on God that we can set down our trials and troubles and lean on Him. The process is one I'm still learning, but one that I am totally fascinated by and am desperately seeking with all my heart.

I am overwhelmed by the love that God has for His children. This project has been in His hands from the beginning. He has asked me to place my trust in Him and from now on I will always follow that still small voice that leads and guides. I am just waiting to see what God has in store for the future. Whatever it is, I know it's going to be awesome, and I have a feeling I won't be quite the same after!
